Job Description
Commercial Insurance Placement Specialist
The Placement Specialist role is focused on quotes/submissions for our member agents. Member agents submit applications to our team, to approach carriers they do not have direct access to. The Placement Specialist will rate online and/or submit to carriers with goal of returning bindable quotes to our members.There is no direct sales and no servicing of in force business.
Daily Responsibilities
Review all new business applicationsIdentify & contact responsible members to obtain any missing info and/or receive clarification needed to quote the accountUpdate CRM with appropriate info throughout the life cycle of the quoteMarket account & generate new business quotesReview binding applications for appropriate info & formsIssue policies through insurance carrier websites upon receipt of all required documents from the member
Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience working with multiple Commercial Lines coverages & industries.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & multitask.Property & Casualty License required.
