Job Summary
A leading insurance agency is seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Insurance Sales Manager to lead their sales team. A strong background in commercial insurance sales, proven leadership skills, and a track record of driving sales growth is essential. This role is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, leading and coaching a team of sales agents, and building strong relationships with clients and prospects. Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets and sales goals.Lead, train, and mentor a team of commercial insurance sales agents to maximize their performance and productivity.Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and provide feedback and coaching to team members.Collaborate with marketing and underwriting teams to identify market opportunities, develop targeted sales campaigns, and enhance product offerings.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, prospects, and industry partners to drive business growth and retention.Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and develop innovative sales strategies.Monitor and track sales metrics, KPIs, and pipeline activity to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
Qualifications / Requirements
Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and team members.Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and risk management; demonstrates the ability to provide expert advice to clients.Experienced in building and maintaining positive client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.Holds an active Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License.Preferred Agency Management System Experience: Applied EpicProven track record of success in commercial insurance sales, with at least 5 years of experience in sales.Previous experience in sales leadership, team management, or a related role.Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, underwriting principles, and industry regulations.Ability to motivate, inspire, and lead a sales team to achieve targets and exceed expectations.Previous experience as an Insurance Producer or in a similar insurance sales role.Knowledge of insurance agency operations as they pertain to sales.
Compensation Package
