Job Description: Applications Engineer
Responsibilities
Develop bespoke solutions tailored to client-specific needsCollaborate with Applications Engineering team to design structural, mechanical components and custom electrical and hydraulic systemsCreate 3D computer-modeled drawings for client approval and use during product fabrication and assemblyEngage directly with Sales and Clients throughout the build process, including pre-build specification reviews and pre-delivery client inspectionsProvide support to Operations and Service through hands-on and remote troubleshooting, working alongside technicians and other engineersWork with other teams to establish and maintain lean principles, leading continuous improvement events to enhance our products and processesFoster career development by setting short and long-term goals, collaborating with the supervisor and other departments to expand product knowledge and skills
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a Master’s Degree in Engineering (Engineering Technology degrees not included)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively and independentlyWillingness to travel up to 25% of the time, potentially on short noticeThe job level may be adjusted if the selected candidate meets the qualifications of a more experienced level in the career path
