📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Position: Construction Manager- Substations & Transmission linesLocation: Rochester, NY/ Augusta, ME/ Orange, CTType of Employment: Full Time ContractClient: Energy/Power/ Utility
Qualifications / Requirements:Individual needs distribution construction experience. Scope will include, but is not limited to managing vegetation management, permitting, material management and warehouse kitting, management of FCMs.Coordination with local Manager Regional Operations (MROs) and line supervisors as well as daily reporting out to the Operations Reliability call is also essential.Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent education with 7 years relevant experience required.A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive related electric utility industry experience, with functional area related construction management experience preferred.Five (5) years' experience in a supervisory capacity preferredMicrosoft Word and Microsoft Project or EquivalentMust have a valid Driver’s LicenseMust be willing to travel to construction sites on a day-to-day basis, attend meetings.Experience in the functional area under which it will be contracted: Substations, T&D, Gas-Hydro, and OSG.
