📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Location: Sioux City, IA
Salary: $60,000.00 USD Annually - $75,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Large Manufacturing organization is looking for a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor for a smaller facility in Sioux City, IA.
Candidates must have 3+ years manufacturing plant leadership experience
This will be a 3rd shift position (11pm - 7am)
Minor relocation assistance is available for candidate within a few hours away (this company does not sponsor or relocate candidates from outside of the US)
Summary ~
The Production Supervisor assists in the direction and management of the facility with total charge of the operation in the absence of the Plant Manager. In addition, may be in direct charge of one or more areas of plant operations.
Assists in the recruitment, selection, and orientation of new employee’s development and discipline of established employees.Monitors and directs plant operations and lab analysis for quality control; takes necessary action to ensure quality standards are met.Looks for opportunities to increase productivity efficiently and economically.Under the direction of the General Manager, may be responsible for obtaining certifications necessary to the operation and implementation of such projects as Bio-security, HACCP, and is primary contact for the Company’s Safety Program.
Qualifications ~
High School diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum 2 years of experience in a production/manufacturing facility.
