Site Superintendent Warehouse Distribution Operations – Sulfur
Where will you work: Onsite at our Sulphur River Facility – 9959 LA Highway 18 | St. James, LA 70086. Our site operates 24/7/365. You will have the option to work a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.
Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for logistics and operational excellence? Look no further! We’re seeking a dynamic Site Superintendent to lead our Sulphur Warehouse Distribution Operations. As the Site Superintendent, you’ll be at the helm, steering our warehouse operations. Your mission? To create a high-performing team that thrives on collaboration, efficiency, and results. You’ll orchestrate the entire warehouse flow—receipts, storage, loading, and shipping. Your leadership will foster growth, boost morale, and elevate performance. You’ll champion compliance with OSHA and Maritime security programs by coordinating our EHS, MOC’s and CORE. You will thrive in this role if you enjoy fostering career growth and have a solid background in industrial warehouse operations.
What You’ll Do
Provide work direction to the teams at our River sulfur facilityManage performance issuesDevelop and coach employees in order to retain and grow organizational talentOversee operations activities for inbound and outbound shipments of sulfurAssign preventive maintenance work ordersConduct monthly safety tailgates and review all incident or near miss reports with employeesDevelop and implement process improvements and capital projectsManage training requirements for all employees and contractors
What You’ll Need
High School Diploma or GED5 + years’ experience leading a teamExperience with hazardous materials management5+ years' experience operating or managing a plant in the fertilizer industry, chemical industry and/or a heavy industrial environmentExperience leading teams while working with material operations and maintenanceDemonstrated experience operating and maintaining industrial equipmentOperations experienceAbility to lead teams effectively and train/develop the skills of their team membersMS Office Suite, general computer literacy

Bachelor's Degree in technology education, operations, management, engineering or related fieldWorking Knowledge of applicable Maritime regulations and requirementsExperience managing projects in the $2M range
