Role DescriptionThis is a temporary, on-site role as a Summer Program STEM Teacher located in Baltimore, MD. As a Summer Program STEM Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons on transportation, engineering, and STEM to middle and high school students. You will help students develop their knowledge in these disciplines through hands-on activities and projects, as well as field trips.

Company DescriptionThe National Transportation Center (NTC) is a long-running transportation research center at Morgan State University that focuses on research and workforce development. Every summer, the NTC administers the National Summer Transportation Institute, a month-long summer program designed to introduce middle and high school students to transportation and engineering.
This year's program runs from July 1st to the 26th.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in a STEM-related field or equivalent experienceExperience teaching or instructing students in STEM subjectsStrong knowledge of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics conceptsExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to create engaging and interactive lesson plansPassion for inspiring and motivating students in STEMStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment
