CRA Officer (Community Reinvestment Officer)
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Community Reinvestment Act Officer is responsible for developing all aspects of the Bank’s CRA Compliance Program. This position establishes relationships with community based, charitable and non-profit organizations. Develops programs to ensure the Bank meets the needs of the community and attains CRA compliance goals. Advises Bank management and Bank personnel of emerging CRA issues to ensure compliance is maintained.
Qualifications· Strong knowledge of the CRA and Fair Lending (FL) regulations, including HMDA and ECOA.· Demonstrated leadership skills and strategic ability to formulate and drive a compliance program· Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with diverse groups and individuals· Wide range of CRA-related contacts in state and local government and community organizations is required
