This position reports to the Procurement Director. Relocation is available. Key Responsibilities: Lead the Operational and Sourcing teams, and the Supplier Quality team associated with the SBU.Establish and implement benchmarks and metrics including scorecards to set baseline standards and review for improvement opportunities.Coordinate and oversee company procurement with a view towards reducing costs while improving the overall quality of sourced goods and services.Negotiate multi-year contracts to cover 85% of SBU spend.Collaborate with business leaders to evaluate, anticipate, and drive attainment of SBU and platform revenue and margin goals.Ensure compliance with Federal (FAR/DFAR/ITAR), State and Municipal requirements including Small Business ReportingReduce risk supply by developing key second source suppliers. Must have: 10 years experience in procurement/supply chainUS CitizenAerospace experience required.Stable job history is high priority for this manager.Experience leading large team. US CitizenBS/BA degree or equivalent in business operations, procurement, finance, or similar fieldMinimum 10 years of direct procurement or sourcing experience in a large corporate settingIn-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiationSupply chain management software and tools, including QAD, Oracle, ePro, etc.Experience in Aerospace required.Experience leading a large team..
