One of our best clients in Orange County is looking to hire a Sr. SAP SD/LE Business Analyst. They have asked for our recruiting assistance on this high-profile position. The ideal candidate is a team player with an analytical mindset who is both technical and business savvy. In this role, you will be viewed as the subject matter expert on SAP Sales & Distribution, SAP Logistics Execution, EDI, and integration points with functional other SAP modules like MM, PP, FI, and BI.
As a Sr. SAP SD Business Analyst, you will work closely with developers and various functional IT Analysts to identify appropriate software solutions & architecture based on the requirements and design elements contained in a system specification. High-level job duties include, but are not limited to research, tool evaluation, documenting patterns and standards, defining technology strategy, technology evaluation and recommendation, solution design for complex business requirements and working with software developers/engineers through hands-on assistance as well as formal and informal training and technical development. In this role, you will rely on your experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals as well as anticipate future business needs and design for appropriate extensibility working alongside our dynamic team.
Desired Education Skills and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in software engineering or related field or equivalent work experience10 years of relevant SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Logistics Execution (LE) experienceSolid understanding and knowledge of multiple platforms, like SAP, Salesforce, EDI, Java Enterprise & Cloud architecturesExpert knowledge of SAP SD & LE modules with a solid understanding of integration points with FI, MM, and PPExperience with BI reporting, queries & knowledge of data cubesStrong understanding and experience with integration and middleware technologies & frameworksProven track record of designing and implementing complex applications that solve business needs both effectively & efficientlyStrong interpersonal skills to work effectively with people at all levels and with varying backgrounds in a team environment and foster/contribute to a collaborative, respectful environment on project teams & ability to function as a team leadAbility to articulate change implications for any process or system solutionExcellent understanding of software development standards and processesAbility to develop new approaches for complex designsExperience with S/4 implementations is a plus.
