Full Service Multi-Family Real Estate Developer is seeking a Project Accountant
Responsibilities
Work closely with all members of the development team (including project managers, engineers, superintendents and field office coordinators).Prepare owner billings, timely collection of payments, and subcontractor compliance.Create and analyze financial reports.Journal entries and job costs for projects.Assist with strategic planning/forecasting of project financials.Risk management and notice to owner tracking.Cash management and reporting.Assist with project audits.Collaborate with corporate staff with other duties on an as-needed basis.Review and summarize owner contracts to understand accounting requirements. Qualifications: Bachelorβs Degree in accounting or related field.2+ years of project accounting experience within an owner/operator, multi-family experience is preferred.Must have experience working with AIA'sYardi experience is requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Strong analytical and communication skillsDetail-oriented and a team playerAbility to multi-task and consistently meet deadlines
