Your New Role
Join an established higher education organization in Houston, TX, as the Contract Specialist, where you will develop, implement, and maintain an accurate, district-wide contract tracking and management system using Bonfire. You will also prepare and distribute reports and statistical data to necessary parties to facilitate the planning and maintenance of accurate contract records and files, identify contracts with spend caps, determine the budget, coordinate with clients/suppliers, and obtain vendor performance forms, draft extensions, renewals, and amendments.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Your Experience
A bachelor's degree in business administration, law, or a related field is required.Five (5) years of experience in contract management or a related field is highly preferred.Intermediate to advanced writing and reading comprehensive skills are required.Strong negotiation, analytical, and customer service skills are highly preferred.
