Job Description
Fabrication Technician
Pay Rate: $19 per hour.
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Hours: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm
As a Fabrication Technician, you will perform all duties required to produce fabrication products. Assist in the layout and maneuvering of industrial-grade fabrics used to produce geo-synthetic tubes and other high-strength woven fabrics.
Responsibilities
Assist in the layout and maneuvering of industrial-grade fabrics used to produce geo-synthetic tubes and other high-strength woven fabrics. Fold, gather, and feed materials for the Sewer to join fabrics.Observe stitching to detect defects due to workmanship or machine malfunction. Observe fabrics for visual flaws in fabrics used in production.Participate in weekly safety meetings and follow all safety protocols.
Requirements
Ability to follow instructions and retain routine processes.Ability to read and understand documents, safety rules, and procedure manuals.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram instructions furnished.Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Forklift experience is a plus.Ability to lift 50lbs. push/pull 100lbs.
