Parts Sales Agent
Pay Rate: $19-20 /hr
Location: Rockwall, TX
Hours: 8:30am-5:30pm
We are seeking a Parts Sales Agent to join our customer’s growing team in Rockwall. The primary focus is on ensuring the efficient processing of parts orders for sale and warranty claims. This role involves meticulous tracking of orders, updating status, and notifying customers of changes in delivery schedules. Utilizing a sophisticated database or tracking system, the Parts Sales Agent plays a pivotal role in handling parts sales and warranty parts distribution.
Responsibilities
Receive parts orders and verify item availability and current stock in the accounting softwareConfirm that clients are within their credit terms and communicate with customers regarding order detailsInput orders into the accounting software and liaise efficiently with warehouse staffProvide shipping quotations to customers inquiring or placing ordersCreate shipping labels for outgoing shipmentsGenerate sales orders and invoices for all orders in the accounting softwareEnsure customers are within their credit terms and handle the creation of credit memos for returned productsEstablish and maintain a daily filing system for inventory-related tracking documents and customer-related documentsDigitally file and upload documents onto the company cloud storageCommunicate professionally with customers via phone and emailProvide accurate information to customers, address concerns, and handle purchase orders and messages in a professional manner Provide real-time updates on inventory levels as requestedCollaborate with the Service Manager and warehouse personnel to ensure synchronization between the software system and actual inventory
Requirements
2+ years of experience in customer service and/or order processingExcellent organizational and data entry skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamProficiency in computer skills, operating systems, and applicationsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailProficient in English and MS OfficeTyping proficiency of 45 words per minuteStrong customer service, written, and verbal communication abilities
