Job Description
Semiconductor Wafer Process Operator
Payrate $12.96-$16.20 hourly with a $1/hour shift differential for night shift Temp-to hire opportunity with potential for career growth and stability. Position is in Sugarland, Texas 774781st shift Thursday-Saturday, alternating Sundays 7:00am-7:00pm Mid shift Monday-Friday 12:00pm-9:00pm Night shift Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12:00am
Play a critical role in supporting production goals and maintaining high company standards when you become a Semiconductor Wafer Process Operator with one the leading designer and manufacturer of fiber optic networking products. Our client primarily serves three growing end-markets: cable television broadband, fiber-to-the-home, and internet data centers.
As a Semiconductor Process Operator, you will be responsible for all tasks involved in the production of the company’s products such as processing the wafers and bars using various equipment to produce laser chips.
Your New Role
Process, production, and inspection Measure and record process data to ISO 9001 standards Work with tweezers and microscopes Sets up and operates production machines including lapping and polishing machines
What You Need
High School Diploma or GED Ability to plan, layout, and perform operating equipmentPrevious experience in using microscope, hand tools, and tweezersExperience handling small devices in an assembly manufacturing clean roomMust be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
