Job Description
Welder – MIG/TIG
Pay Rate: $27.50 hourly compensation based on experience and qualifications.
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Hours: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7am to 3:30 pm
As a Welder you will perform setup and all-position welding on a diversified line of standard weldments and structures in accordance with code certifications, alignment, dimensional and general inspection requirements.
Responsibilities
Fit and position weldments having a number of parts, prescribed or standardized, but Welder may select and vary techniques within limits of recognized proceduresWork from drawings and possess the knowledge of welding techniquesPerform any additional duties as assigned; Some heavy lifting will be required
Requirements
Must possess the ability to work independently from drawings and specifications.Ability to measure and make own set-ups, use MIG, TIG, and Plasma proficiently to produce items to quality standards and testsUse of inspection tools for quality checksKnowledge of welding welding principles and techniques
