Retail store manager

The Salty Babe is a women's casual beach lifestyle boutique. We're here to support and enrich an active, fun-loving lifestyle with effortless everyday items. We are a locally owned business with 3 stores across the country and growing! We are currently looking for a Manager to join our team at our Salty Babe Newport store! As Manager you are responsible for the daily operation of the store. Must have excellent problem solving skills while working in a face paced and fun environment!

The ideal candidate will have an ability to manage the daily operations of the retail store and complete tasks related to inventory tracking, marketing and customer service. They should be a confident salesperson and be able to share their best practices in order to onboard new employees. This candidate should also possess strong leadership skills and be able to assign duties to relevant employees in order to maintain the function of the store. Qualifications 1-3 years of retail and retail management experience Demonstrated ability to train employees and be an effective salespersonStrong customer service, management and communication skillsFlexible schedule requiredProven ability to problem solve and motivate self/staffPassionate about customer service Always cheerful and positive Ability to be adaptable and flexible Enjoys being independent Must be tech savvy (Shopify, Square, Google sheets...)

This position requires at least 12-18 month commitment to the company in this role. We want to ensure continuity of service for both our current staff as well as our customers. This position is expected to start ASAP.
