Purchasing/Inventory Agent or Manager
A Mattress/Bedding purchasing agent familiar with the materials and suppliers to the mattress manufacturing industry.
The plant maintains JIT inventory flow, the standard raw materials cost files, and controls the select material’s cost incorporation into finished goods costing. The candidate would have one support person to provide hands-on oversight of receiving, stock maintenance, and two inventory counts per year.
Individual needs to be quick & accurate with his arithmetic: able to ascertain usage from cyclical inventory counts and materials requirements reports, project future requirements, and place orders.
