Position Summary: This position is responsible for managing ERP systems maintenance or office equipment, including faxes, copiers, printers, computers, and software. Custom report generation, software and hardware analysis, acquisitions, and installation as well as help lead ERP and reporting continuous improvement efforts to drive increased efficiency throughout the business.

Essential Job Duties

Manages the day-to-day operations of the organization’s computer network by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance, and repair. Applies revisions to host system firmware and software. Works with vendors to assist with support activities.Develops procedures, programs, and documentation for backup and restoration of host operating systems and applications as well as ensuring backups are complete.Establishes guidelines, tests, and implements methods for installation and management of host computer operating systems, disk arrays, switches, and other network components.Stays current with technological developments in systems technology and recommends ways for Aurora Bearing to take advantage of the technology available.Installs, configures, and designs documentation of computer system software, hardware, and network configurations.Ensures high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission-critical computer and network resources.Lead/drive projects related to IT infrastructure.Drive operational excellence for IT Infrastructure including End User Service, network, telecommunication, and collaboration tools.

Technical/Functional Skills

Computer, copier, fax machine, mailing machine, telephone, calculator, terminal, and printers. Networking equipment, server, and system O/S, phone system.Managing server infrastructure and data centers across a range of hardware and server operating systems. Collaborating with other departments and outside vendors to see a project through to completion. Setting up a network using industry-standard networking hardware and software.Familiarization with ERP system operation as well as backend operations and capabilities.

Minimum Requirements

Associate's degree in IT, Computer Systems, Software Engineering, or comparable years of relevant experience required.Experience in an office setting with IT systems preferred.
