A packer/sorter also known as a “Cell Operator” performs an array of functions including but not limited to packing, sorting and inspecting parts.
Shifts Available For Immediate Hire
2nd shift: 3:30pm - 11:40pm
3rd shift: 11:30pm - 7:40am
GGB by Timken is a manufacturer of high performance bearings. The position will be in a union environment. The current hourly rate is $24.70 with an additional $1.58 shift differential when working on 2nd or 3rd shift.
Job Duties Include
Hand Deburring Parts one at a time to ensure each part passes quality inspection Machine Deburring Parts by placing a quantity of parts into a machine and monitoring the process from start to endWashing Parts placing a quantity of parts into a machine and monitoring the process from start to endVisual inspection of parts to ensure each part passes quality inspection Packing parts into boxesSystemic Posting and tracking orders within SAP Able to operate standards in SafetyResponsible for consistent part quality and ability to interact positively with team members to obtain that quality & product flowHousekeeping to 5s standardsAttention to Detail
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent is RequiredAble to lift up to 35 poundsComputer Skills
