📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Summary
Manage mid-sized construction projects up to $500K to assure they are completed on schedule and in accordance with contract specifications and UTA standards. Responsible for managing campus construction projects, provide day to day project quality control and for and maintaining accurate construction project records.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with three (3) years of experience in construction project management or construction coordination or high school diploma/ GED with six (6) years of relevant experience.Must have a valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree.Eight (8) years of experience in construction project management or coordination.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Assist Facilities Management design group in project programming and developing construction documents.Perform due diligence site investigation in support of proposed project designs.Review Construction Documents prepared by Facilities Management for accuracy, clarity, completeness and constructability.Interacts with contractors, construction inspectors and other university personnel to satisfy requirements of all parties involved during construction including submittals and RFI’s.Coordinate final punch-list walks with users, contractors, and UT Arlington support groups. Acquire project acceptance from users and process project closeout documentation.Other functions as assigned.
