Every Guest looks for that perfect gift or souvenir to remember their time at the Walt Disney World Resort. From Pirate booty to Princess treasure, there’s something to put a smile on everyone’s face. Food & Beverage H/H

Our Food & Beverage Cast Members are the first Cast Members our Guests will see as they enter our table service dining location. They set the stage for their dining experience, and will greet and escort the Guests to their table. Beyond this, these Cast Members are integral in the running of the dining room, assisting with a wide variety of duties throughout the kitchen.

This role requires high Guest engagement, problem solving, and critical thinking, all of which are imperative to your success.

The pay rate for this role in Florida is $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Merchandise CM

Provide exceptional guest service and proactively engaging with guests, addressing needs, answering questions, giving directions, and other information about the theme park or surrounding areas. while sharing your passion and knowledge of Disney ProductsWork between indoor and outdoor Merchandise kiosk locations with prolonged standing to perform and maintain crowd control during peak operational hoursProcess guest orders accurately through a point-of-sale system (POS register), including; cash handling, counting money, making change, and processing credit card transactionsReceive inventory to include unboxing, tagging, and displaying items on various sales floor locations. May perform Heart of House responsibilities which include: unload pallets with a pallet jack, forklift or other devise to move inventory, stock replenishment from the pallets to the sales floor, coordinate the stockrooms, and support the overall function of their respective locations.

Food & Beverage CM

Proactively greet Guests, manage seating charts, & resolve Guest situations in fast paced environmentsAnswer Guests questions regarding menu items, food products andUse PCs and tablets to navigate reservation and table management systems to check-in Guests and manage seating chartsEscort Guests to their seats, pulling out chairs and providing high chairs or booster, and deliver and present menus.Complete opening and closing tasks, assist with bussing tables, pouring alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, run food and complete general cleaning.

Basic Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years oldMUST be able to demonstrate Cultural Authenticity pertaining to MoroccoStrong written, verbal and interpersonal communications skillsExperience managing, prioritizing, and supporting multiple responsibilities efficientlyComfortable handling Cash and other forms of paymentObservational skills to identify Guest needs and ensure safety guidelines are being followedUnderstand and explain menu offerings to Guest and answer questions about the food productsFollow all food safety regulatory requirements and company standardsPartner with team to make adjustments for operational changesPassion for connecting with Guest and Cast Members from all lines of business to provide excellent serviceOperate mobile devices and other computer systemsPhysical role including heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, twisting, standing & walking for extended periods, climbing, and kneelingExposure to extreme temperatures, from high heat areas in the kitchen and outdoors, to cold areas in freezers and coolers.Cast Members may be required to handle cleaning chemicals and suppliesCast Members may work with and around all foods and food allergens, including but not limited to beef, pork, poultry, fish, shellfish, gluten, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, egg and dairy products.

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual preferred.Full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred.Part-Time requires full availability for any shift, a MINIMUM of three (3) days per week, including nights and holidays

SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
