Position Summary

Assist with a wide variety of inspections, checks and sampling procedures for all products. Inspect incoming chemical products and ensure they meet all specifications. Create required product documentation and move material as required. Maintain site retains and disposition returned products. Coordinate review and disposition of old and expired raw materials. Create Certificate of Analysis and datasheets.

Key Responsibilities

Perform basic dimensional and visual inspection of purchased parts or assemblies of final productPerform inspection of chemical purchased productsUse various measurement devices to ensure compliance with specificationsComplete required inspection records per standard operating procedures Create Certificates of analysis and product datasheetsUpdate incoming specifications per defined standard operating proceduresWork with other departments or vendors to get information or solve issuesMay occasionally lift and move product up to 50 lbs.May use material movement equipment like pallet jacks or forkliftsMay receive in and put material to stockMaintain and disposition of site retains, including proper disposal of product when necessaryInspect, rework (if required) and disposition returned productPerform review of products nearing expiration or beyond its test cycleMove questionable material into hold and prepare appropriate documentationPerform all job duties in a safe manner and obeys all safety policies and proceduresPerform all job duties consistent with the Code of Ethics and the 4-I valuesPerform all job duties within ISO standards, regulatory or statutory requirementsPerform other duties and cross training as assigned

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Prior logistics experience necessaryKnowledge of quality assurance/control documentation necessary Detail oriented and accurateAble to lift and move up to 50 lbs.Work quickly and accurately to process materialGood verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work as a team player and/or independentlyStrong organization skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlinesMust be proficient with PC applications
