📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Sales Executive in our Tax & Accounting Professionals Small-Mid client segment is responsible for retaining and growing their existing account base and acquiring new accounts within their geographic area of responsibility. Their territory consists of customers and prospects with 1-30 professionals. The Sales Executive position is a virtual role, requiring excellent telephone and writing skills. The Successful Sales Executive:

Draws on their high level of initiative and ability to apply strong business acumen to conduct a thorough needs analysis within their accounts.

Has the ability to develop trust, demonstrate their credibility with all account stakeholders through their knowledge of Thomson Reuters’ products, and services and acquired knowledge of the tax and accounting industry.

Tailors their client presentations to the unique needs of the individual account and articulates their proposals through ROI justification to shorten the sales cycle.

Note: This is an inside sales *hybrid role (*mix of working 2 days 'in-office' and 3 days from home/remote each week) that can be based in any of these corporate Hub office locations: Ann Arbor, Minneapolis/St. Paul, or Dallas/Carrollton.

About The Role

In this opportunity as a Senior Sales Executive, you will

Attain sales and renewal targets and quotas on a monthly basisDemonstrate the use of Tax & Accounting products to the customerObtain and provide territory information regarding market intelligence and penetrationConfer with and assist in customer-related issues as needed to maintain good customer relationsComplete weekly sales performance reports and completes all CRM reporting in a timely and accurate mannerDrives strategic initiatives supported by assigned account team consisting of Sales Development Representative, Account Development Representative and Solutions Consultants to drive growth in assigned territoryLeverage sales automation tools and data insights to engage prospects and expedite sales cycles (such as utilizing Flash/EMS/Salesforce)Attend sales meetings and conventions as required

About You

You're a fit for the role of Sr. Sales Executive if you have/are:

Minimum 5+ years successful sales experienceProven/consistent track record of quota attainmentSoftware as a Service Sales (SAAS) experience a plusWorking knowledge of sales concepts, methods and techniquesExcellent communication skills & presentation skills to maximize phone and virtual client meetings/presentationsStrong prospecting and closing skillsStrong time management and organization skillsAmbitious self-starter with high energy and motivationHighly proficient in MS Office suite, utilizing a CRM (such as Salesforce preferred) and overall technical aptitudeContinuous learner, flexible and open-minded, positive attitudeHigh level of integrity and understanding of sales ethics
