📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN to deliver exceptional patient care in the 36-bed medical trauma unit. In this role, you will provide patient-centered direct nursing care, including telemetry monitoring, to a diverse patient population. Responsibilities· As a registered nurse in the medical trauma unit you will provide therapeutic care to patients being treated for cardiac, respiratory, renal, and other conditions.· You will assess acute changes in patients, monitor and analyze heart rhythms, interpret ECGs, note arrhythmias, and intervene in emergencies.· Working closely with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, providers, cardiac specialists, and patient care staff, you will administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs following established policies, procedures, and protocols of the facility.
Qualifications:Education:Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
License/ Certification:Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or Current Multistate Compact License.
Experience:1 year of RECENT (Within the past 1 or 2 years ) RN experience in an acute care hospital setting Preferred *HOWEVER, would consider candidates that have 6 months of RECENT acute care RN experience. WOULD ENTERTAIN CANDIDATES THAT HAVE GREAT EXPERIENCE IN SKILLED NURSING SETTING (LTAC)
Shifts: Full Time - Days 7a-7p OR Nights 7p-7a
