Company DescriptionThrive Postpartum, Couples and Family Therapy is an experienced practice of clinicians located in Hoffman Estates, IL. We specialize in the treatment of Pregnancy & Postpartum Mood Disorders, Perinatal Grief and Loss, Gottman Method Couples Counseling, and Trauma Therapy. In addition, we also provide support for clients with general depression and anxiety who are looking to improve their lives.
Role DescriptionThis is a part-time role for a Couples Therapist at Thrive Postpartum, Couples and Family Therapy. As a Couples Therapist, you will be responsible for providing therapy primarily to couples. This is a hybrid role, meaning that the role is primarily located in Hoffman Estates, IL but some remote work is acceptable. Therapist must have evening and weekend availability. This is definitely a role that can grow into full-time work if applicant is interested. This is a W-2 Position.
QualificationsExperience in Couples TherapyKnowledge and understanding of the Gottman Method, or other research based couples therapyExcellent communication and listening skillsAbility to create a safe and non-judgmental space for clientsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamLicensure as a therapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, etc.) in the state of Illinois
