Sr Financial Consultant

The Senior Financial Consultant provides in-person, virtual and group counseling for participants, new entrants, prospects, beneficiaries, and their legal and financial representatives on the complex spectrum of products and services to provide education on the plan, allocation and investment guidance, information on income needs/solutions and advice where appropriate. This job partners closely with Regional Leadership to develop and oversee a regional outreach and engagement strategy for the organization's institutional partners. As part of the organization's Client Relationships team, this job covers institutions aligned to regional structures and offers financial investment and income advice via phone and video chat to help clients accomplish their immediate and long-term financial goals. This role is recognized as a master of retirement plans, advice delivery and works closely with the organization's most important institutional relationships. All licenses must be obtained within 120 days from start date.

Key Responsibilities And Duties

Utilizes in-person, virtual and group meetings to educate, recommend and facilitate retirement investments and help participants determine if they are on track for retirement.Utilizes extensive knowledge of the organization's products and, where appropriate, educates and assists clients in account opening for various products (including retail mutual funds, annuities, IRAs, 529 and 403b, bank products, life insurance and others).Counsels participants on their retirement plans, tax deferred annuities, and other available investment options in order to help clients retain and increase assets.Partners closely with Regional Leadership including Relationship Managers to maintain and develop strong relationship with Institutional Plan Sponsors.Leverages income and investment tools to provide authoritative information upon which important personal financial planning decisions are based.

5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred

FINRA Registrations

SRC Indicator: Series 7; Series 63

Licenses and Certifications

Life and Health Insurance License (Resident State) - Multiple Issuers required within 120 Days

Base Pay Range: $72,100/yr. - $114,700/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
