📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are assisting a client located in Shaker Heights in their search for a Staff Accountant. This is a direct-hire position that offers great benefits and time off. This is an on-site position.Responsibilities Include:Compiling and analyzing financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts and to document business transactionsPerform month and year-end closing activities to the general ledgerAssist in the payroll processing, reconciling all payroll deductions for various benefits and payroll taxes and the related tax filings.Assist in preparing cost reports, budgets, and/or financial forecasts.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or other business school degree is required.Minimum three years of experienceExperience with Microsoft GP and other Microsoft software is preferred
