DescriptionAs a Process Development Technician on the Tioga team, you will play a key role in the product's design and development, process development, and testing to support the product's development for clinical use. This is a full time on-site position and will require reporting to our offices located in Los Gatos, CA.

Responsibilities, Skills & Hands-On ExperienceSupport manufacturing by building in-house nitinol product consisting of electropolishing, shape-setting, micro blasting processes.Support manufacturing builds by performing laser cutting equipment set up and operations.Perform visual inspections of components under a microscope and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) for production as well as development builds.Perform dimensional inspection with a Micro-Vu or other measurement tool for production as well as development builds.Understand, adhere to and maintain process documentation (Work Instructions, Manufacturing Process Instructions and Quality Product Inspections).Provide assistance in job setup and process training for team members.Collect, summarize, and analyze data by inputting data in spreadsheets for engineering.Monitor process and equipment performance and address issues or escalate promptly to minimize downtime.Execute test protocols and engineering experiments to collect data associated with process development, validation, and continuous improvement efforts.

Education & Work ExperienceRequires a high school diploma, technical courses, or equivalent industry experience.2 -5 years technician experience, experience in medical devices preferred.Good communication skills, both written and oral.Knowledge of and experience in development and fabrication of medical devices and ability to work independently as well as team setting required.

Our salary ranges are calculated by role and level. Your position within that range will be determined by your job-related knowledge, skills, experience, relevant education, and training/certifications. In addition to those factors, we also examine internal equity as well as consider current market rate, and title may be assessed one level lower or higher accordingly. After you join the company your performance, contributions, and results along with business and organizational needs will affect your base salary. The base salary range for this full-time position is between $68,000 to $75,000 + equity + benefits.
