Job Description This high guest interaction job is perfect for those with people skills who always want to bring a smile to others! As the primary point of contact for guests, this high interaction job ensures that no two days will be the same! During a shift, Team Members will be responsible for scooping over 20 flavors of ice cream, preparing various milkshakes, and assembling other ice cream related products! Team Members will also be responsible for handling points of sale, and ensuring that the parlor maintains its look and feel up to company standards. Team Members will have opportunity for advancement based on performance and will be expected to work at least 20 to 40 hours a week, as well as weekends and occasional holidays.Job RequirementsAble to promote a safe and fun work environment.Person In Charge Food Safety certification (or equivalent) or the ability to obtain Person In Charge Food Safety certification (or equivalent) required.Able to follow all food safety guidelines.Ability to follow instructions for creating and delivering a consistent product.Ability to count money and maintain an accurate drawer.Ability to effectively communicate.Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.Ability to stand for long periods of time.Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.Ability to successfully evaluate and solve various complex situations.Ability to successfully complete a variety of training including but not limited to: online, in-person, and on the job.Maintains a professional work environment.Strong customer service and problem solving skills.Detail oriented.Previous work in food and beverage not required.Job ResponsibilitiesPromote a safe and fun work environment.Create a variety of ice cream related dishes.Follow and complete opening, closing, and hourly procedures.Accurately handle money and complete transactions of varying amounts.Provide positive interactions to guests.Work with company leadership on ways to continue to improve daily operations.Communicate with team members and other members of the leadership team to quickly answer any guest questions or concerns.Other duties as assigned.
