DTC Sales Inventory Planning Analyst- Los Angeles -Hybrid

Job Description

The Inventory analysts play a pivotal role in our company's success as they manage and optimize inventory, directly influencing our sales and profitability. This role involves creating, managing, and maintaining reports that provide crucial insights to our business. The position is highly influential, interfacing with all essential functions, including sales, operations, finance, e-commerce, production, and design. The ideal candidate combines an analytical mindset, detail orientation, and strong critical thinking skills with a passion for a fast-paced, ever-changing fashion environment.

In this role, you will ensure financial success for the company by achieving sales and inventory targets while innovating new strategies that inspire the team to manage the business efficiently. Responsibilities include:

Analyze inventory levels and trends to optimize stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory, focusing on e-commerce, drop-ship, and Amazon fulfillment operations.Develop and maintain inventory planning tools and processes to accurately forecast demand and replenishment needs for various sales channels, including e-commerce platforms.Generate regular reports and analyses on key inventory metrics at style, customer, and size levels; seasonal inventory aging; seasonal style and SKU counts.OTB management to actualize and forecast sales and inventory by business channel.Develop ad-hoc reporting as needed.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, production, and finance, to align inventory planning with business objectives.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or equivalent• Excellent Excel skills for data mining (Advanced Excel, Pivot Tables, V-Lookups)• Experience integrating inventory management, data analytics, and financial data.• Strong quantitative and analytical skills in problem-solving with a track record of innovative solutions• Self-directed, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.• Ability to translate analysis to the audience and communicate recommendations.• 3-5 years experience in a similar role; Amazon or Ecom experience preferred.
