Join us as a SQL Developer and be at the forefront of transforming data into actionable insights Long Term ContractFully Remote$45-50/hr As a SQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining database solutions that support our organization's data needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, optimize database performance, and ensure data integrity and security. Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support business applications and reporting needs.Design and implement database schemas, tables, views, and indexes to efficiently store and retrieve data.Collaborate with software developers and business analysts to understand application requirements and translate them into database solutions.Perform data analysis and profiling to identify data quality issues and recommend solutions.Optimize database performance by tuning queries, indexing strategies, and database configurations.Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Create and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, technical specifications, and data flow diagrams.Provide support and troubleshooting assistance for database-related issues.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).Proven experience working as a SQL Developer or similar role.Strong proficiency in SQL programming and database design concepts.Experience with relational database management systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).Knowledge of database performance tuning techniques and best practices.Familiarity with data modeling tools and techniques.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).Certification in database administration or related field.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
