📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Requirements:Cloud Experience: Strong experience with AWS is essential, and familiarity with other cloud platforms is beneficial but not required.DevOps Tools: Proficiency in DevOps tools is necessary; however, this project doesn't require specific expertise in build/release pipelines.Source Control Management (SCM): Solid experience with Git is necessary, and familiarity with Jenkins (or similar tools) is advantageous.Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in Terraform, especially with Terraform Cloud for build operations, is required.Operating Systems: A strong background in Linux is essential for this role.Patching Experience: Experience with patching systems is preferred.Monitoring and Logging: Experience with Splunk is highly desirable, although familiarity with alternatives like CloudWatch is acceptable.Scripting: Ability to create scripts from scratch is crucial; experience with predefined scripts is not sufficient.Additional Skills (not mandatory but advantageous):Experience with other cloud platforms (besides AWS), such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform.Familiarity with other DevOps tools like Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.Knowledge of other source control systems like SVN or Mercurial.Experience with other infrastructure automation tools like Puppet or Chef.Familiarity with other logging and monitoring tools like ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.Personality Traits:Strong problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Adaptability to learn new technologies and tools quickly.Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and reliability.
