Company Description TOUCHSTONE RECOVERY CENTER, INC. has been helping individuals and families in the Central Valley overcome addiction and rebuild their lives for over 20 years. We provide Detox, Residential, PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program), and Intensive Outpatient treatment for substance use disorders.
Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as a SUD Counselor at TOUCHSTONE RECOVERY CENTER, INC. located in Fresno, CA. As a SUD Counselor, you will be responsible for providing counseling and support to individuals dealing with substance use disorders. This includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, facilitating group sessions, providing individual counseling, and collaborating with other members of the treatment team.
Qualifications State certification or licensure as a Substance Use Disorder CounselorExperience in providing counseling and support to individuals with substance use disordersKnowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches for substance use disordersExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary teamKnowledge of and adherence to ethical and professional standards in the field of addiction counselingExperience working in a residential treatment setting is a plus
