Toyon is seeking a Software and Embedded Systems Engineer with a background in embedded systems and software design that will be applied to a variety of systems involving electronic warfare, navigation, and RF sensor processing. An ideal candidate will have excellent thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
RequirementsCandidates should have a demonstrated ability to rapidly prototype embedded systems in state-of-the-art testbeds, using mixtures of FPGAs, SoCs, and other embedded processors. Essential skills include the ability to understand analog and digital communication theory, to perform modeling of candidate system designs, and to design and implement algorithms and software for embedded systems involving different sensor modalities.
A B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
