📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Overall Job Summary
The ATV/UTV Mechanic repairs and maintains all-terrain vehicles. This position will require you to perform preventive maintenance on ATVs and UTVs, as well as the possibility of hydraulics systems, generators, mowers, chainsaws, garden tillers, and compressor pumps-single/two stage. This position plays a crucial role in supporting both the store and our customers through effective communication, prompt completion of work orders, and timely provision of estimates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
Perform preventative maintenance, diagnosis and repair, engine work, and service of ATVs, UTVs, and Go-CartsPotential work on hydraulics systems, generators, mowers, chainsaws, garden tillers, and/or compressor pumps-single/two stagePerform diagnostic assessments to identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and technical issuesProvide effective communication with customers, vendors partners, tech support, and team membersAbility to use the computer to do online training, look up parts, and order partsComplete work orders and estimatesWork in a safe and efficient manner
Required Qualifications
Experience: Certification OR five (5) years minimum experience in small engine repair (specific to ATVs and UTVs)
Education: High school diploma required, technical or vocational education preferred
Professional Certifications: Manufacture certification obtained for Warranty work (Husqvarna, Briggs & Stratton, etc.)
Preferred Knowledge, Skills Or Abilities
Effective communication and problem-solving skills, sound time management and multi-tasking skills.
Working Conditions
Indoor floors and outdoor lots generally are hard surfaces (concrete, asphalt, etc.) lighting and temperature are adequate. Occasional travel to stores, distribution centers, and other business locations
