Proposal Manager

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Proposals Manager will assist in the proposal, onboarding, and contracting process in coordination with our Sales and Finance teams. This person will provide guidance to sales reps, own vendor form completion, and assist with requests for proposals/information (RFx). The Proposals Manager will also assist with Salesforce and DealHub as it relates to the successful execution and tracking of contracts. The Proposals Manager must have exceptional attention to detail and ensure adherence to tight deadlines. Our ideal candidate is methodical and meticulous, thrives in ambiguity, is quick to identify problems, and ready to take the initiative to solve them. Key ResponsibilitiesOwn RFP management Analyzing RFP requirements Creating the proposal schedule, outline, and compliance matrixManaging internal resources from multiple teams to gather the right information for the response Ensuring RFP complianceWriting and editing proposal sections as neededPerforming in a time-sensitive, tight deadline environmentEnsuring timely delivery of compliant and professionally produced proposalsBuilding and standardizing professional templates for Quotes and ProposalsOwn vendor & supplier form completion, Certificates of Insurance (COI’s), and any other contract requirements, ensuring they are completed correctly and quicklyCollaborate with others to optimize Deal Hub and Salesforce for the execution, maintenance, and tracking of contractsTrack proposal win rates and ensure consistent improvement of RFP and proposal managementProvide overall process leadership

Required Skills and Experience:Detail-oriented and analyticalAbility to manage multiple initiatives simultaneouslyProven ability to conceptualize and write compelling, solution-oriented proposal responsesWorking knowledge of SalesforceAbility to perform and complete projects to tight deadlines3+ years experience with sales operation processes in a Sales, Rev Ops, or Procurement capacity3+ years experience with SalesforceLegal experience and/or experience with contracting terms a plusExperience with proposal and RFP submissions a plusExperience with Deal Hub or other Contract/Proposal platforms a plusExperience with Procurement Systems such as Workday, Coupa, Ariba, or SmartGEP a plusExcellent communication and strong presentation skills. Comfortable with being on camera during internal and external meetings.Proven ability to manage time and workload from a remote/home based office.

Compensation: $85,000 annual salary. Eligible to participate in Traliant’s discretionary bonus program, subject to the terms and conditions of such program, which Traliant may modify or discontinue at any time in its sole discretion. Traliant has sole discretion to determine whether to award a bonus and the amount of any bonus.
