Senior Product Designer

Tranquility AI is a funded, seed-stage startup helping law enforcement do more with less, without sacrificing fairness, privacy, and accuracy. Time that could be spent solving crime and protecting the public, is instead spent sifting through mounds of data. We want to help law enforcement work faster and smarter using cutting-edge artificial intelligence to quickly gain new insights from their data. Our SaaS harnesses machine learning and generative AI to perform analysis and tell a compelling and accurate story of an event.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to play a pivotal role in our journey. You’ll join the team on the ground floor, designing an innovative generative AI user experience that transforms the way district attorneys and detectives perform their critical tasks. ResponsibilitiesCollaborate on a cross-functional team, working alongside a diverse group of professionals, including software engineers, product managers, and ML scientists.Create and build a user-centered product design that is intuitive, efficient, and effective.Own the end-to-end user experience.Use user feedback and data analysis to improve the product experience.Partner with product managers to define the product vision and roadmap.Translate business requirements into actionable design solutions.Share knowledge and expertise with the broader team.

Minimum Qualifications4+ years as a product designer.Experience crafting responsive web applications.Expert knowledge of user-centered design principles.Proven proficiency with Figma, Sketch, or other design tools.Skilled in prototyping experiences.

Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Design, Graphic Design, or related field.Ability to thrive in a dynamic, startup environment.Experience defining the end-to-end product experience.

LocationOur team is based in the Washington, DC / Baltimore metro area, but we also offer remote work options. Our office is 2 blocks from transit with a 30 minute ride to downtown DC and 45 minute ride to downtown Baltimore.
