Responsibilities
Assists senior engineers in highway/roadway improvement projects.Performs highway improvement design including freeway, ramps, local streets, Maintenance of Traffic (MOT), signing and striping, retaining wall, and sound wall.Prepares various type of plan sheets, including Layout, Profile, Construction Detail, signing and striping, and others.Assist with quantity takeoffs and engineers’ estimate.Supports senior engineers and managers in preparing exhibits, reports, and technical memo.Coordinates with various discipline design leaders including drainage, utility, traffic, electrical, and structural.
Performs work with moderate supervision
Qualifications
BS in Civil Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience. Master’s degree preferred.Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate.Proficient in Microstation. AutoCAD knowledge is beneficial.Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)Experience in Inroads and Civil 3D design software is a plus.
Compensation: In accordance with local law, the following compensation range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition: $43-$57/HR. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.
