About the Role
The Plant Finance Manager role at the Forest Park location is accountable for Plant Finance operation to develop and monitor the required financial systems, policies, procedures, and reports to provide a framework to support the Plant planning, accounting, financial reporting, continuous improvement (participation and tracking), and safeguarding of the company’s assets (internal controls). The Plant Finance Manager is responsible for all financial and accounting functions of the facility. In addition to guiding the work of others this is a hands-on position for the development and maintenance of the budgeting and cost accounting program. The Plant Finance Manager is responsible for the following:
Provide financial analysis and insights to support informed decision-making and provide Plant Management with financial information and financial projections to assist in management of operational results and ensure integration into business plans and strategiesLead Monthly closings; prepare and review all General Journals, review period and cut offs for Sales/AR, Cash, Inventory, AP, etc., review the general ledger, prepare, analyze, review, and report the Monthly Financial StatementsReview and approve AP invoices for payment; review balance sheet and fixed asset ledgerReview cost and inventory issues, book to physical inventory differences, bill of material changes, standard cost and daily/weekly production reportsOversee the review and approval of capital projects; oversee and manage internal and external auditsStay current on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards
Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role with responsibilities across multiple shifts which operate Monday – Friday with occasional overtime on Saturday and/or Sunday. This role has three salaried direct reports.
About You

Bachelor’s Degree required (MBA is preferred)5+ years of increasing responsibilities in plant accounting and financeProficient in the use of: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and excellent verbal and written communication skillsProven track record in driving change and profit improvement; familiarity / knowledge of accounting terminology and concepts
