About Us:Tri Edge Advisors is an innovative organization, built by senior executives with an extensive resume in Real Estate Accounting. Our team provides core accounting services to property management and construction clients.
Job Summary:The Accounting Manager will plan and direct the accounting activities of the offshore department, and take a hands-on approach in managing property management and construction client accounting needs. The applicant must have experience working with and/or for a real estate organization, property manager or construction company.
Supervisory Responsibilities:Manages, teaches, and reviews the work product of the accounting staff who are responsible for billing, cash receipt application, accounts payable processing, and bank reconciliations
Duties/Responsibilities:Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactionsPreparation of client requested business activity reports/analyses, financial forecasts, and annual budgetsProduction of monthly financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with financial reporting standardsWeekly check-runsWorks directly with property management/construction clients and key client-contactsWork with firm partners to presents recommendations on short- and long-term enhancementsPerforms other related duties as necessary or assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent management and supervisory skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsProficient in accounting software, preferrable Yardi Voyager and Yardi BreezeProficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration requiredSix years or more of related experience required working with or for a real estate property manager or construction companySix years of Yardi experience
Additional Details:$30 - $35 an hourFull remoteContract to Permanent
