ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe QA/GFSI Coordinator position will be responsible for all Quality Assurance and GFSI certification aspects.Develop, review, update, and maintain all Q.A. processes and procedures to ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, SQF, and GFSI standards and certificationsFacilitate training to employees on job responsibilities as they relate to Q.A standardsServe as primary contact for GFSI certifying bodyDevelop and coordinate training sessions to support GFSI certificationDevelop, schedule, and perform internal audits frequentlyMaintain all Q.A. filesMaintain and update policies and manufacturing operations & practices as required to support GFSI complianceCoach, counsel, and train AssociatesCollaborate with managers to enforce systems, policies, and procedures related to Q.A. and GFSI requirementsConduct routine audits, report on audit findings and corrective action requirementsFollow up on corrective actions to make sure they are completed ContinuousQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSHigh School DiplomaMinimum of 3 to 5 years of related work experienceExperience in GFSI accreditation (preferred)Proficient in business writingProficient in Computer, software, and data management systemsUnderstanding of policy developmentAbility to perform organoleptic evaluations on all edible products producedStrong training and communication skills
