Description
Trident Seafoods is the largest vertically integrated seafood harvesting and processing company in North America. Summary: The Boxer assembles and fills boxes by performing the following duties:
Key Responsibilities
Folds boxes per specificationsAttaches identification labels to boxesPlaces specified number of product in containerCounts items packed to ensure compliance with company standardsPasses filled boxes through tape machineChecks boxes for correct labeling and damageLoads pallets with filled boxesMonitors and records temperatures of productDraws random samples according to quality assurance specifications.Cleans equipment according to company standards.
Additional Responsibilities
Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.Performs other responsibilities and tasks as assigned

Three to six month food manufacturing experience
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance.
The employee is regulary required to stoop; kneel, crouch, and talk or hear.
The employee moves objects
regularly up to 5 poundsfrequently up to 25 poundsoccasionally up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to distinguish shades of color to identify abnormalities and/or defects in food products.
