📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Trillium Construction is seeking an experienced Plumbing Foreman for direct hire in Louisville, KY. Our client is a well-established HVAC Contractor looking to add to their team. This person will be responsible for leading a team of plumbers and executing commercial plumbing projects according to specifications and timelines.Salary is open to discussion and comes with great benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance, 401K, PTO, and more.
Duties:Carry out duties assigned by the Operations Manager and Superintendent.Execute and lead a team of plumbers (when needed) in plumbing projects according to specifications and timelines.Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure work is performed efficiently and meets quality standards.Delegate tasks effectively and manage workflow to maximize productivity.Install, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, fittings, and appliances.Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to resolve plumbing problems effectively.Implement quality control measures to prevent defects and ensure long-term durability of plumbing systems.Communicate effectively with Superintendent and team members to provide updates on project progress and address concerns.Qualifications:Must hold a Journeyman Plumbing License in good standing in Kentucky.Proven experience as a plumber with several years of hands-on experience in Commercial plumbing.Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in plumbing installations and repairs.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner.Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and develop effective solutions.Adaptability to handle unexpected challenge and make quick decisions to keep projects on track.Commitment to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.Capable of lifting to 50lbsShould be able to stand for six to eight hours per day, with the potential for extended periods during overtime.Capable of working in extreme weather conditions.Hold a Valid Driver’s License
