Job Summary

The Executive Director, Web Strategy will lead scalable and efficient brand and growth web programs for various marketing web properties. They will develop the vision and execute creation of compelling experiences for various personas and audiences. This role is accountable for the web property strategies. The successful leader will work across multiple marketing channels, lead a robust experimentation program to test hypotheses and be data driven in their approach. This leader will need to be technical, understand conversion-based experiences, and be able to lead and nurture a high performing digital team. In addition, this leader will understand web architecture, technology and platforms, and conversion-based experiences. Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Develop and execute a unified digital strategy and execution plan for all web properties using data to back decisions and create hypothesis. 10% Manage, understand, and drive success metrics (traffic, conversion, leads, revenue, user experience and others) through both a quantitative and qualitative process. 10% Lead in-house digital team to drive creative development and execution. 10% Own web operations, including tech stack, site performance and reporting. 10% Define and articulate the vision and strategy for public-facing websites and related digital assets, supported by analysis. 10% Lead user experiences for various personas and buyer journeys. 10% Oversee and lead experimentation, research and analysis of emerging technologies and platforms. 5% Drive usability and uptime of company web properties. 5% Manage launch roadmap and adjust as necessary. 5% Implement web best practices that are reflective of the latest trends and technologies. 5% Oversee the management of all content and technical updates to web properties. 5% Lead, mentor, and manage a team of web professionals in the U.S. and globally. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that encourages continuous improvement and growth. 15%

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience - preferred

Work Experience

Typically 15+ years in web strategy and digital experience, preferably targeting SMB audiences – preferred

Experience with the use of data, analytics, and data science techniques to impact web approach and optimization framework.

Agency and startup experience is a plus due to the fast-paced environment.

Understanding of various marketing programs, including SEO, paid media, product marketing, and integrated campaigns.

Proven track record of successfully developing and launching state-of-the-art website experiences with data backed decisions.

Advanced proficiency in creating and guiding website strategy, technology, and user experience.

Creative thinker willing to test big ideas and apply learnings to future activities.

Strong knowledge of content management platforms in a cloud environment.

Understand mobile platforms and mobile strategy.

Strong knowledge of software development methods, tools, and environments.

Strong data and analytics capabilities.

Travel Requirements - Some Travel May Be Required

The salary range for this role is $137,100 to $362,000. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.

A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
