Description
At Saint Mary’s Hospital the Clinical Nurse Supervisor RN collaborates with the Clinical Managers to provide continuity of patient care by ensuring adequate resources are available on a shift-to-shift basis. This vital role also provides clinical support as the registered nurse responder for the Rapid Response Team.
What You Will Do
Acts as the patient throughput decision maker responsible for upholding decision-making processes related to management of appropriate bed assignments. Acts as off shift leader, rounding on units, answering both colleague and patient questions and upholding all policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN degree is preferred. Registered Nurse RN Licensure: Must hold a valid and current Connecticut registered nurse licensure. Experience: 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience or progressive nursing leadership is preferred. BLS or CPR certification: Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross will be accepted.
