Description
Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an Endoscopy Tech with CNA certification to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators.
Position Purpose
Under the direction of the GI registered nurse, the Endoscopy Technician assists the physician and GI registered nurse before, during, and after diagnostic and therapeutic procedure in implementing the plan of care.
What You Will Do
Assisting in data collection to identify the patient’s needs, problems, concerns, or human responses, such as vital signsManaging instrument sanitationProvide and maintain a safe environment for the patient and staff by complying with regulatory agency requirements and standards set forth by professional organizations and employerKnowledge of practice related issues related to the field of gastroenterology
Minimum Qualifications
Must have an active CNA licenseMinimum High School diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in GI or clinical environment preferredMust maintain clinical competency required for areas of assignment, including CPRKnowledge of medical terminology
