Position Purpose

At Saint Francis Hospital, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Float RN to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a critical part of our organization, you will provide exceptional patient care across various units, including Inpatient Trauma, Acute Care, Oncology, Neuroscience, and Cardiovascular Care.

What You Will Do

Monitor, record, and respond to patients’ clinical status.Assist with various levels of care and treatment, supporting and encouraging rehabilitation.Be assigned to your designated unit by the Nursing Supervisor prior to each shift.Float between one or more units during your 12-hour shift.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university-affiliated nursing program. BSN graduates preferred.Experience: 2 or more years of Inpatient Hospital RN experience.Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) required.

Work Schedule

Full-Time – Weekends Only – 12-Hr Night Shift. Will work 24 hours from 3:30 pm Friday thru 7:30 am Monday but will be paid for 30 hours per week. All shifts will be every weekend, plus holidays. All colleagues will be paid an additional differential during 24 hours worked and base pay during additional 6 non-worked hours. Also eligible for all shift differentials during 24 hours worked
