Description

Position Purpose
The Housekeeping Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe health care environment by daily cleaning and supplying of patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, offices, departments, and other assigned areas.
What You Will Do
Perform required cleaning and housekeeper functions in assigned area.Execute proper cleaning procedures and demonstrates efficient, cost effective and safe use of housekeeping equipment. Perform other special housekeeping and Environmental Services assignments in a team environment.Distribute clean linen to all departments following established par levels.Collect soiled linen from all departments.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or (GED) preferred; or one to three months’ related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
