Job Summary And Qualifications

The TriStar Food & Nutrition Patient Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional food service to patients by obtaining food preferences, preparing, and distributing quality food and supplies. This role requires a commitment to excellent customer service and adherence to regulatory standards to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.

What you will do in this role

You will obtain food preferences from patients and ensure the preparation and distribution of quality food and supplies daily. You will integrate ethics into all aspects of practice and adhere to confidentiality and patient rights policies. You will support the facility's mission and values while meeting mutually agreed-upon performance goals and objectives. You will utilize systems to ensure compliance with food safety (HACCP) and department sanitation standards. You will ensure patient safety through adherence to processes and procedures. You will assist in the hiring process of potential employees and complete self-competencies for education and development. You will utilize cost control processes to meet financial goals and reduce waste in food and supply costs. You will strive for patient satisfaction by utilizing processes to achieve patient service goals. You will utilize HCA hardware and software, as well as Computrition software, for efficient operation. You will complete work within acceptable time limits, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy and completeness of work performed. You will demonstrate courteous behavior to customers, guests, and coworkers, striving for customer satisfaction. You will work independently or as part of a team, adjust schedules as needed, and exhibit willingness to master new work routines and methods. You will learn new procedures and protocols, attend mandatory in-service requirements, and assume responsibility for continued professional development.

Qualifications

High school diploma preferred1 year of food service experience preferredFood Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hire preferred
